this product cost $1,400 dollars and worked for about 3 hours before the circuit board controlling the compressor stopped working. Senville.s customer service was absolutely useless and failed to correct the problem. The technician was from some foreign country and was of no help. According to other dissatisfied customer's reviews Senville products are horrible and an expense lesson to learn about dishonest business practices. Amazon should know that they are pedaling junk and their name will be associated with Senville.
Defrost heats the pan from beneath and melts out any ice in it. It doesn't work on the coils or the pan drain tube which clogs with ice. Once begun, defrost mode continues for days during stormy winter weather, till the wind dies out allowing convection to let some heat rise into the coils, but this is in the open air, in the wind, so it has to be totally still. NO wind at all. Winter storms, in effect, make it unusable due to droplets of mist or snow freezing into the coils, and I have to run the wood-stove while miffed about defrost mode not defrosting the coils. So how many watts is that heater tape under the pan using for days on end? I'm considering either to build a big ugly roof over it with several feet of overhang, or to move it into the attic, ducting out through a cupola, and to not use it for summer A.C. I'll need a second unit out in the yard for that. It does not vibrate and runs silently, so running it in the attic for heat during winter wouldn't become a problem for me as long as adequate intake is provided through soffit vents and the exhaust ducts out through a cupola.
if your doing it yourself, make sure you buy the adapter with your vacuum pump, you cant complete the job without it. its the 1/4 to 5/16 adapter that goes on the low side. also the directions were mixed up because the picture has it connecting the vacuum hose to the high side, but its really the low side. its a no-brainer because the high side doesn't have the T fitting on the system. Overall, I am pleased with the system. its very quiet and wasn't too bad to install.
Installed the unit in a 3rd floor bonus room which was basically an attic that reached temperatures so extreme during the summer in NC that we never used the room from the middle of June til September. This unit has transformed our bonus room/attic into a very comfortable living space that we now use year round. When temps are only in the upper 80's the room actually gets cold. Yesterday the high in NC was 95 and the room was not cold, but very comfortable. Such a Major improvement from the heat box this room was in previous summers. It was well worth the money and I wish we had bought it sooner. Also, its a quiet unit which I love.
The only issue was that it called for a yellow wire in the inside wire connector and the cable had red, black, white and green so it took me a few to figure it out, I checked the outside unit and white goes to the yellow
Other than that I saved mega bucks DIY!! I pressure tested at 200psi and flushed the lines with nitrogen and it held 200 psi for 40 minutes then I vacuum the lines for another 30 minutes let it sat for 25 and it held -30 solid so I released the gas. Started cooling immediately, however, you have to let it run for While for all sensors to settle then is amazing quiet and keeps the temp to the T !!!!
Used for a 400 sqft loft room non conditioned over a garage. Had a few install hiccups as usual mini splits are never ez. But if you can use a flaring tool and are fairly good with wiring and can operate basic functions on a set of manifold gauges these units are probably the best out there. Make Sure that you spend the little bit extra to get a 220v DC inverter compressor model. It makes all the difference in the world. You will save a bit of money because the wire required is smaller gauge and on long runs that could add up. The 12000 btu runs off a 12/3 romex but could technically be done on 14/3 the load is that light. And boy it is dead silent and vibration free. The 110v versions are not in this same league for sound and shake.
Last evening my Furnace stop working, I called Cambridge to send someone who can fix my Furnace ASAP because I have a small kids in my house after half an hour technician by the name of (Rasheed) showed up he professionally diagnose my system while then he explained me everything whatever he is doing he found out pressure switch is dirty and he fixed it on the spot. Clean job, friendly technician, I recommend family heating and cooling.
As far as I know , there are no legal ways to "repair" credit besides paying off your outstanding debts and keeping your payments current. You can legally dispute negative items on your report if they are reported incorrectly. Some of the credit repair companies will dispute negative items over and over even if they are legitimate and accurate in an attempt to get them removed. This may be a way to improve your scores quicker, but could get you in trouble. Coming out of college I had a terrible credit score, but after a few years of paying back the legitimate debts and getting inaccurate items removed, I am 750ish on all 3.
