The Vancouver Canucks (4-2) and Edmonton Oilers (4-3) close out the preseason Saturday at Rogers Arena. Ita€?s a rematch of Thursdaya€?s 2-1 victory for the Canucks at Rexall Place. Ryan Miller is slated to go the distance in goal for the Canucks while Ben Scrivens is the likely starter for the Oilers. The Canucks will go with a veteran line-up that will feature the fourth preseason appearance of Daniel and Henrik Sedin with new linemate Radim Vrbata. Linden Vey leads the Canucks in preseason scoring with two goals and five points. After playing the wing in Edmonton on Thursday, Vey will move back to the middle and centre a line with Derek Dorsett and Jannik Hansen. Chris Higgins will skate with Nick Bonino and Alex Burrows while Shawn Matthias plays between Nick Jensen and Zack Kassian. Brad Richardson and Tom Sestito took the morning skate, but it appears both will be extra bodies for tonighta€?s game. On defence, Kevin Bieksa, who missed practice Friday, is likely to be scratched for as well. Earlier in the day the Canucks re-assigned centre Cal Oa€?Reilly to AHL Utica. The Oilers are using tonighta€?s game as one last look at a number of their young players. Third overall pick in this yeara€?s draft Leon Draisaitl will centre Anton Lander and Nail Yakupov while top defence prospects Darnell Nurse and Oscar Klefbom will also both suit up tonight. Veteran Oilers playing tonight include Jordan Eberle, Matt Hendricks, Boyd Gordon, Teddy Purcell and Justin Schultz. Both teams open their regular seasons midweek against Calgary. The Canucks visit the Flames on Wednesday while the Oilers host their provincial rivals on Thursday. Edmonton will be back in Vancouver one week from tonight for the Canucks home opener.
